Kang Seoktae
Kang Seoktae draws inspiration from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's novel The Little Prince, creating works centered on the motif of the Little Prince embodying a child's pure heart. Through the landscapes and reinterpreted narratives that the Little Prince encounters in his works, he conveys emotion and solace. He has participated in 21 solo exhibitions and over 200 group exhibitions. His publications include Speaking to the Little Prince and A Cultural Flower Bloomed on a Tree. He received a special selection at the 22nd Joongang Fine Arts Competition and a special award at the Korea-Germany Art Association Competition. His works are held in notable collections including Art Bank (MMCA), the French Cultural Center in Korea, Korea National University of Arts, Namhae County Office, the Purme Foundation, Suncheon Miracle Library, Nexon Children's Rehabilitation Hospital, and Changwon Hanmaeum Hospital.
